Guided walkthroughs

The setup tour and the sidebar map, plus how to replay them.

Two kinds of walkthrough

Admin

Madsi teaches itself on the real dashboard rather than in a separate tutorial. A walkthrough dims the page, spotlights the exact element it's talking about, and waits for you: clicking the highlighted thing is what moves it along.

  • Get connected: the setup walkthrough. Install the mod, generate a token, paste it, decide how linking behaves, add a whitelist rule, prove it works with one /link. Progress belongs to the Discord server, so your team shares it.
  • What's where: a one-minute map of the sidebar, naming every page and what it's for. Nothing changes; it's orientation.

Replaying them

Admin

Nothing is one-shot. Workspace → Preferences → Walkthroughs lists every walkthrough with its state and a replay button, useful when a new admin joins your team.

Leaving a walkthrough counts as seen, so you're never asked twice about the same walkthrough. Preferences → Walkthroughs is how you get it back.

Where progress is kept

Admin

Setup progress is stored against the Discord server: if a co-admin connects the Minecraft server, the setup walkthrough shows as done for everyone. The sidebar map is per person. They follow your account across every server you manage, because they're about learning the dashboard, not configuring it.
